Win, Draw and Loss.
First off Driff u16s A team, played Halifax where unfortunately lost 2-0 but the girls worked hard but didn’t seem to get going.
Next match was against Doncaster, the forwards Marie and Lucy we’re running there socks of dragging defenders out so that Holly Snaith could put a cracking ball into the D for Emily Williamson to reverse hit into the goal. After that that Jenny, Mimi and Katie worked together to make sure that the opposition stayed out of our D unfortunately Doncaster managed to put two goals in the back of the net to let them take the win. The girls did not deserve to loose the match as they were on top for most of it.
Finally the girls played York where they all battle hard and managed to win a short corner . The short corner team consisting of Eve, Lucy, Holly and Keira pulled off a well worked manoeuvre when Keira pushed the ball into the back of the net for Driffield to take a well deserved win
