On Saturday Driffield Ladies 3rd travelled west to play top of the league Ben Rhydding 4th.
On a positive note the new younger team members are really starting to gain confidence and strength in their play.
We were soundly beaten by Ben Rhydding but the score-line did not reflect the game.
We matched the opposition in speed on the ball and movement across the pitch and we had numerous opportunities to score and strikes on goal. Unfortunately Ben Rhydding had a very experienced attacking line-up and an awesome Goal Keeper.
Youngsters Drewery, Bottomley, Goodlass and Percival had a great game with Sophie Dockerty just getting her stick to a pass from Phoebe Goodlass to get Driffield's goal.
No match next week but back on the 4th November against Pudsey.
