An early start for Driffield 1s, for a 11:45am start at Sheffield.
First half started well against Sheffield uni bankers, with a few good chances from the midfield of Charlotte Braidwood-Smith, Amy Moore and Keira Dinsdale-Young bringing it up and striking it for forwards Bryony Holtby, Millie Riby and Fiona Tuplin to try get in the end of them, which were unfortunately blocked by the Sheffields goalie.

As the second half got underway Sheffield pushed forward and put pressure on the Driffield defence of Holly Snaith, Vicky Bannister, Ash Gate, Gemma Tuplin, which gained them a short corner. Sibelle cleared the shot on goal but unfortunately, Sheffield uni bankers came straight back and got 1-0 up.
Driffield tried their best to get it back with a good few runs and chances but unfortunately the final whistle went and the final scored remained 1-0 to Sheffield.
