Superb Debut for Amber

Driffield L1’s played at home on Saturday welcoming Lindum to the wolds.

Playing the game in quarters to help battle the heat the Driffield team welcomed some youth to the first team, Louisa Chacksfield, Amber Scott and Lucy Russell.

Lindum came out hard, showing their experience as a team. Taking their time to suss out the Driffield defence they earned a short corner in the first quarter which they successfully converted.

Quick team talk and Driffield pulled together coming out with renewed confidence. Strengthening the middle Driffield soon found their rhythm and a change of pace saw them apply the pressure.

This paid off as Driffield successfully drove into the Lindum D with Bry Holtby finishing a shot to convert for Driffield.

Feeling the heat both teams consolidated for the final quarter holding the score steady.
