Driffield ladies played a friendly game against York 1s coming out on top.
This season Driffield ladies 1s are playing in the Yorkshire and North East Premier league.
The ladies played in quarters due to the heat.
In the first quarter the Driff ladies sussed out their opposition.
The ladies worked hard working towards get back to prime fitness.
Conceding 1 goal, the ladies keep fighting and pushing forward, getting to grips with new formation.
The next two quarters were fairly even. The battles continued and same great hockey was played.
The final quarter Driffield found their rhythm with goals from Rebecca Lindsay and Bry Holtby and the whole team pulling togther, using the space and attacking with pace.
Driffield hope to take this fire into the new season with another friendly arranged next week against Lindum.
