Driffield Men's 2nd XI looked to bounce back to winning ways after defeat against Airedale. Standing in their way was a Rotherham side who the Woldsmen beat convincingly earlier in the season.
As a rearranged fixture, Driffield found themselves without many key players, including Willem Smith, Ashley Ewbank and Adam Chard. Steve Gate took over between the sticks, whilst midfielders Callum Seers and George Morgan stepped up from the third team, along with veteran defender Charlie Hall.
A hat-trick from Harry Billam and further goals from Jono Trowsdale and Callum Seers gave the Woldsmen all 3 points, hopefully securing Division 2 status for another year.
