Day 2

The Sunday then saw Driffield take on Morpeth in a rearranged game that had previously been postponed by the weather. Driffield were only able to field 11 men for the game but this didn’t stop them from running riot again, with 5 goals for Cherry, to take his tally to 9 for the weekend. Bell also uncharacteristically scored and has been advised to work on his celebration on the unlikely occurrence of him scoring again in the future. The game finished 6-0 and the weekend leaves Driffield in 6th place in the league, and eying up some of the top spots with just 6 games left in the season.
