Here are a few bits of information that we feel members should be aware of:

Match Fees.

The committee have introduced a cap on outstanding match fees of £50.

Therefore if your monthly invoice is not paid and it is more than £50 then captains will not be able to select you for forth coming matches until this deficit is addressed. Either by payment or communication with them or the club treasurer to agree a payment plan.

Yellow Cards

The committee have also re-addressed the Disciplinary Document (Found on Pitchero)

We have changed the number of yellow cards received before we implement a one match ban. The following rules will apply:

2 Yellow Cards - Club issue a one match ban
5 Yellow Cards - England Hockey issue a 1 match ban
7 Yellow Cards - Club issue another 1 match ban
9 yellow Cards - Club Issue another 1 match ban. etc.

Showers

We have taken on board the England Hockey Guidance regarding showers after a match with under 18’s.

We have now agreed with the sports centre that all home teams will use the Ladies changing rooms (and away teams will use the mens). Therefore the under 18’s must use the ‘wet side’ of this changing room through the sliding door and the adults will use the ‘dry side’. We hope all members will adhere to this requirement and understand our commitment to safe guarding our young players.

Photographic Consent

All members should have ticked their consent boxes when registering on pitchero, please revisit your profile to check you have done so.

Anyone that would like to take photographs of matches (or training), home or away, must ask permission of the Captain/Coach/Manager/Umpire prior to the game.

After consent has been obtained, those with permission will be asked to step inside the boarding so everyone knows they have agreement.

On the flip side to this, if you see someone taking photographs/video’s please do ask them if they have sought approval to keep all our members and opposition safe.
