Dozen delight.

Driffield hosted the Uni girls on Saturday. It was a mainly young Driffield side with only GK Fiona and the two backs Wendy and Tash not being teenagers. With it being early in the term for the students it soon became apparent our girls were going to be too strong for them. The first goal came from a penalty stroke after a ball struck a foot on the line. Clemmie stepped up, scoring her first goal of the game. Goals followed from Phoebe, Keely, Evie (2) and Clemmie another 2, making the score at half time 7-0. The girls had plenty of sweets at half time and came out keen to get more goals. The wing backs Rowan and Andriana were driving into the circle and shooting, Andriana scoring and Rowans shot being tapped in by Evie. Phoebe got her second of the game with a strong run. Abby was making some great runs and passes, one leading to Clemmie getting her 4th of the game. Driffield did tire a bit having no subs but any attack was swept up by Erin. Clemmie made a great run from the halfway line to score her 5th and our final goal, making the score 12-0 to Driffield.
