Second Half Rally

Sheffield started push back, with Driffield putting pressure on straight away. Having strong possession throughout the first half but unlucky as Sheffield managed to break through and score. Unfortunately Driff gave away a short corner but it was defended well by Andriana, Wendy, Laura, Eleanor and goalie Shanie. After holding strong possession and some shots on goal they were defended well by the opposition leading to another Sheffield breakthrough ending the first half. Driffield opened the second half with determination and midfielders, Immi, Laura and Clemmie fighting for the ball receiving support from Andriana, Erin and Eleanor yet unfortunately letting another ball into the goal after some amazing defending of the goal by Shanie but Driffield fought back with amazing work from everyone and support as Phoebe ran down the line getting past a few players and managing to score giving Driffield hope. Given strong playing and some good passing in the 25 by forwards, Rachel, Keely, Evie and Phoebe. Sheffield took the ball, but Driff wouldn’t let it past ending the game as Evie made a run down line and passing to Keely on post in the last few minutes making the final score 3-2 and an unfortunate loss.
Donkey was Clemmie and girlie was Andriana.
